Set up a new customer pre-pricing group
You must have the Label/Tag Printing Add-on Module and the Customer Pre-Pricing Add-on Module to use this article.
The Customer Pre-pricing module allows your customer to provide their own pricing and label/tag information for the items in your inventory. You can send them filtered lists of your inventory, they fill out the information, then you store it back in eGrow Connect for creating labels/tags when shipping items to that customer. Multiple pre-pricing groups can be created for a single customer or a single pre-pricing group can be used for more than one customer.
- Navigate to
Sales, then
Customer Pre-Pricing.
- Click
New Group in the taskbar.
- Enter the group name and click Add.
- Review and complete the tab information. See a description of each tab below.
Example Scenario: This is typically used when a customer requests a specific tag for a different size of item. A customer may want stickers on gallon pots and stick tags on quarts, or perhaps stickers on all sizes, but with different information included depending on the size. Include a list of item sizes here with the corresponding label/tag size. Include a list of customers in this pre-pricing group with their Ship To address and pricing group. Following an [item Import], customer data will appear here with the customer’s information. You can also manually add or adjust items here. Use this tab to export lists of items for your customer to fill out.
